Our Story

Flaming Koala was born in 2022 as our attempt to start an Indian homegrown brand that celebrates nature and is committed to protecting air, land and water, and finding solutions to the climate crisis.

I am an avid rock climber and mountaineer, and after having spent many years climbing and living in the Indian Himalayas and the Canadian Rockies, I grew to love and admire the wilderness, and I wanted to wear something that reflected that. When I didn't find anything that was truly an expression of what I wanted to say, I started Flaming Koala.

Flaming Koala expresses that sentiment with its minimalist nature-inspired designs, and plays its part in making fashion sustainable by exploring new ways to reduce its carbon footprint and partnering with organisations fighting for the conservation of the natural world.
